Ryan Edde

Ryan Edde works with real estate investors, CPAs, real estate agents, and commercial brokers to identify tax efficient real estate and passive investment solutions, with a focus on 1031 exchanges, Delaware Statutory Trusts, Qualified Opportunity Zone investments, and other diversified alternative strategies. He brings a practical, education focused approach to helping clients navigate real estate related liquidity events and investment decisions. 

Prior to entering the alternative investment space, Ryan spent 26 years in corporate finance, debt and equity underwriting, credit leadership, and relationship management, primarily with Wells Fargo in both Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking. Over that time, he helped structure, underwrite, and execute more than $20 billion of corporate debt transactions and spent 24 years specializing in the gaming, lodging, and hospitality industries. That experience continues to inform his disciplined approach to investment analysis and risk assessment. 

Ryan’s perspective is also shaped by real world experience outside traditional finance. From working at a young age as a commercial fisherman in Bristol Bay, Alaska, and as a farmhand on his family’s farm in California’s Central San Joaquin Valley, to helping his own family navigate complex real estate divestiture, exit planning, and tax liability issues, he brings a practical understanding of the challenges families and investors face. He draws on that experience to help clients approach important financial decisions with both discipline and perspective. 

Ryan earned his degree in Business Economics/Finance from UC Santa Barbara and completed additional accounting coursework through California State University, Bakersfield. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 79, and 99 licenses, along with the SIE. Based between Reno, Nevada and Auburn, California, he is an active member of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and CCIM Northern Nevada. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and their seven children, fly fishing, hiking, backpacking, and playing music.
